Please take notice that the hungerstrike has ended. https://at.indymedia.org/node/15521
Some women from the no borders camp went to Pagani Thursday around 5 pm and said the minors had stopped the hunger strike because of intimidation by police. They were allegedly threatened to be deported back to their countries. I went to Pagani Friday and can confirm the hunger strike has ended, cannot confirm about the threats because the boys did not say anything about to me - I asked. The women who went on Thurdsday also brouht some clothes for the detainees but the police threw them in the rubbish.

Minors are not supposed to be imprisoned, even by the law. During the last days dozens of them were released, under the pressure of everyday mobilisations outside the detention centre.

Migrants are still coming though and the authorities practices haven't changed. 47 unaccompanied minor migrants, mainly from Afghanistan but also from Somalia and Palestine, are since the 1st of September on hunger strike. 4 of them don't drink water as well. Water is not drinkable anyway - "if you drink this water you will never want to drink water again" one said to us. Some minors are been kept for more than 40 days.

This morning we made a solidarity action outside the prison and we talked with one of the imprisoned migrants.
